Here's a couple of photos from my museum day with JJ & Betty: We ran into the NYC gay pride parade on the way to the Museum of Sex...
A few days in, I attended a wrap party with my benefactor, the lovely & talented Lauren Oppelt, for a film that she had just finished. She was referred at this party for a position on a new film, which she got (because she's a badass), & hired me on a production assistant. To read the synopsis of "Benjamin", click HERE.
These photos were taken near our location in Brooklyn. The HDR graffiti shot has to be run through the licensed version of my software to remove the watermark, but I wanted to go ahead & post it anyway.
The next few weeks were spent on set, for 12-18 hours per day. Lauren & I slept on the subway, sweated our buns off, & I learned a TON about film production. Within a few days of being on set, I was promoted to on-set photographer. It was a fabulous experience, & I have decided to pursue further film work. Unfortunately, I am contracted not to release the photos from Benjamin for a set period of time, so I'm unable to blog them for the time being.
Since the film wrapped last week, I have taken a handful of pretty cool HDR shots of the city. My HDR processing software is on my desktop, so as soon as I get home tomorrow, I'll post them for y'all!

Hipster of the Day Award goes to.... THIS random guy that I covertly took a photo of outside of a party. Yikes.
Yes folks, that is Lauren dancing on the bar. She rocked it. :-)
Lauren's other roomie, JJ
A couple of random, amazing things (blue flavored pop?!).
Damn we're cute!
Lauren's dog, Gambler.
For the time being, here are some shoddy (mostly phone) shots of me, Lauren, our assorted companions on our various subway & NYC adventures. As I said, I'm set to return to Seattle tomorrow, & I have some exciting shoots coming up. thank you all for your patience, & I look forward to shooting with & blogging about you all ASAP!
Poor dude... We woke him up when the train arrived, but not before I got my photo. ;-P
Lindsey was not happy about the wig, but we thought it was freaking adorable.
Again, I'll post some higher-quality shots when I get home... It hurts me to leave NYC, but I gotta keep ramblin', I suppose.
